Tom WILL NOT be at CFP early Friday morning.  Friday hours are 8:45-11am.

There are no Friday, November 27 evening hours.

Saturday~normal 8:30-11am.  Kids skill class is 10:30-11:15am.

Sunday~9-11am

Self Motivation Award~although I don’t have a picture, Kimberley took it upon herself after the 400m walking lunges to make up the deadlift WOD.  There she was off on the platform all by herself loading the bar and NAILED A PR OF 175#~Way to go girl!!

    great poem Mrs. C I have to say I am very thankful for CFP the wods have pushed me to limits that I did not even ever want to encounter. But after the wod is finished I am always so happy I got through it.. Happy thanksgiving everyone..Enjoy your families…

    HAPPY TURKEY DAY EVERYONE!

    DId not get a chance to post yesterday. Was cooking from 10:30 to 7:30!! Did the 400 M walking lunges. Time was 12:07. Man…are my legs ACHING from that one. Terrific work Lisa, Meme, Pam, Mel, Kimberley! Caleb and MAtt, you both were amazing during your lumberjack WOD for Fort Hood. Wish I could have stayed to see you both finish!

    Got my SORE SELF to CFP by 7:15 this am. Watched Mel and Lynn punch the WOD out. GREAT JOP Mel staying i n the GHD for all rounds. Lynn, great job to you too!

    15 GHD situps
    15 BAck Ext AMRP in 20 Got 16 rounds plus 15 double unders. The GHD situps were the worst! Like we discussed Kim, I think they should have made it 30 double unders! I felt like I was CONSTANTLY on the GHD!

    I’m thankful for squat cleans and ring dips, for athletic tape and gym chalk. For
    constant improvements, both in the physical relm and the mental. I’m happy for my CFP family full of big sisters that bust my chops every day.

    Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. I just enjoyed the most fabulous gravy smothered, butter laden, potato loaded turkey dinner and hope you all did too.

    Thanks to the lunge wod, my quads and ass are absolutely screaming. I can’t do anything without feeling the pain. Can’t wait to see how they will feel tomorrow after running the road race today. Could definitely feel the benefits of crossfit as I ran the race. Felt so much more focused and driven, despite my legs feeling crippled:-)

    As I ran today, I felt so thankful for crossfit. For the strength gains, the confidence boost, the mental toughness, the ability to persevere and most importantly for all the wonderful people I have met that encourage and inspire me each time I am there. You are a great group and I am blessed to have you in my life.

    All the best for a wonderful holiday weekend.

    Nice to get in on a Saturday to “work out” my frustrations…….thank you everyone for the well wishes for my mom…she is improving, just still very scary. keep her in your prayers.

    Started out with my IPOD very loud (sorry Russ, hope i didn’t hinder your 10K rowing progress; great job by the way!!!) to get on the TM and run; did about 2.5 miles; felt good to RUN–RUN FORREST, RUN!!

    20 min. AMRAP 15 double unders/15 GHD sit ups/15 GHD back ext. WOD:

    Did 30 singles vs. DUs, got 14 rounds + 1 token sit up!!

    Thanks Kimmie; good to see u today; great job on the WOD; hope your shoulder feels ok after KB swings. Our plan is to come tonight…we need a night out BADLY!! I will bring my app.

    31:34 It felt like an hour! 7:53 slower than in August, but this time I increased the DL’s by 10# and Cleans were all squat cleans.

    Mel ~ thanks for all your encouragement and spotting during BP’s. Your form was excellent ~ great job :)
