    Gold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

  2. carla says:

    Run backwards
For the love of—. Kimmie that should be fun on oak st.

  3. Pam McGraw says:

We will look like a bunch of backward ass Crossfitters; I am going to wear a mask with the face on the back so it looks like I am going forward. Good thing is I think the temp tomorow will be 17 below zero vs. 10 below zero.

  4. Eileen says:

Argggg I thought I could miss the running, what’s the sub for running backwards on a busy street? I’d prefer not to be flattened by a bus.

    • fitmomx3 says:

getting out of running….you can hold down the fort doing today’s thruster love with rowing and THEN hit “Griff” outside…I’ll be your personal cheerleader for that one!

      REMEMBER~GET COMFORTABLE WITH UNCOMFORTABLE!

It certainly will be entertaining running up and down Oakwood Drive…bunch of lunatics holding onto stop watches.

I seriously wonder if we should meet at CFP to warm up and then carpool over to the GHS track for the WOD….it would be much more efficient to do “Griff” on a track!

I will do a drive by Tuesday AM and see the condition of the track with snow/ice cover.

  5. carla says:

Eileen that was great. McGraw make a mask for me. We are all going to need them.

  6. carla says:

Girls, I just talked to my husband and he said we should run at Smith Middle School track. It is all mapped out and much SAFER. Just a thought. I will be there around 9 and then come by CFP after. Good luck. Mrs. C

    • fitmomx3 says:

NO~ come warm up first and then we can head over in groups….

I will check GHS track for ice/snow cover and you check Smith for snow/ice cover…see you at CFP 8:45am Mrs. C!!!!

  7. Mom says:

C-R-A-P! I’m going to miss the field trip!

  8. carla says:

Ok sounds good Kimmie. I was at Smith over the weekend and there was just a very little snow and ice. Bill said he is not sure we can use the track at the HS during the day.
Smith I think we are ok. The track should be clear. See you at 8:45

    • fitmomx3 says:

Will check in with you in the AM….GHS shouldn’t be a problem as phys. ed. classes are not out there right now.

  9. carla says:

Meme I will do this wod with you again. No worries. We can still go on a field trip. Let me know when you want to do it. I will meet you at a track. Mrs. C

  10. Donna says:

    S-E-R-I-O-U-S-L-Y?????????????????

  11. Melinda says:

    Yeah, S-E-R-I-U-O-S-L-Y?????????????????????????????????????????????
jACKa$$ BUNNY HOPS, 400M walking lunges, gotta love it

  12. fitmomx3 says:

Berger & Mel~ it’s going to be great!!! You will be amazed at how your hammi’s are going to burn!

After it’s over maybe we can do 400m walking lunges and 400m long jumps!!!!

    • Melinda says:

Don’t forget box jumps at the very end, I don’t want my shins to be left out of the fun!

  13. Kimberley says:

Our first CFP Roadtrip. Even if its only to the track, it should be fun. Better than becoming road debris.

  14. Melinda says:

Alrighty, got my hat and gloves out ready to roll.

  15. Tom Vickers says:

    Griff:
    800m Run
    400m Run Backwards
    800m Run
    400m Run Backwards
    For Time: 13:25

It was FREEZING out this morning. I didn’t want to run backwards on the road, so I did from the gym to the end of the parking lot twice for the 400m.

  16. Pam McGraw says:

i was thinking this a.m. too we could do Sequin Drive for the 400 m as at least its a cul de sac and not much traffic vs. Oakwood Drive where we could hit the curb going backwards and be road pizza. Although I am always up for a good ROADTRIP and the track sounds much safer!! Should we pack a cooler of roadies?

  17. fitmomx3 says:

OUR FIELD TRIP WAS A HOOT OVER TO SMITH MIDDLE SCHOOL!

Our course was shy of the exact meters, but fun none the less!

    TIME: 11:48

did 1 more lap with a mish mash of walking lunges forward/backward and broad jump

I may call Parks and Rec to see if they have the measurements of the track over there….I’m sure that question will put them in a tizzy..how many people call or come in wanting to know track distance??!!!

Our little ditty back at CFP was fun too~ thanks for timing Mel!

Tabata (4 cycles at each station, not 8)

    deadlift~95#
    double unders or singles
    wall ball~ 14#
    push ups
    KB swings~1 pood

    good little blast!

Adele and Jill, good job with Griff in the parking lot!

Caleb & Ian, thanks for holdin’ down the fort while we were away on our field trip!!

Polished off my can of “crack” on the way home for time. :)

  18. carla says:

had a great time on the road trip. Donna I loved the tunes. Can’t wait for a real road trip.
    Mel thanks for timing
    13:09 running wod today.

Thanks girls for all the good laughs in the car. See you all on Friday. Mrs. C

  19. Melinda says:

Yup, we need to road trip more often, that was fun. The cold was not too bad with all of us out there. Running backwards took some getting used to but not as hard as I thought it would be.
    time was 16:32
Can’t wait for warmer weather, have not run in ages and boy was I moving SLOW.
You all did GREAT on that tabata, I did NOT have that in me today, hormones had me hitting the wall last night.
Can’t wait to see what tomorrow is, might be snow on the ground, glad this one was today.

  20. Pam McGraw says:

We definitely need more road trips. That was pretty funny……Donna you do have a great stereo; good base on those tunes!!
How boring would that WOD have been doing it alone; the best part was at the end doing backward lunges, broad jumps, forward lunges; what else?? I still think we should have ended our trip with Happy Meals at Mickey D’s or better yet coffee at Mrs. C’s with KAL-U-IE!!
My watch was at zero when I ended my WOD; I must have cleared it while I was running (??only me can have technical difficulties even with a stop watch) but i came in just after Carrie and just before Kim, so I am guestimating apprx. 11:15?

Thanks for forcing me to do the tabata drill when we got back to the ranch. Now I will be in traction while watching T.V. tonight!!

I predict tomorrow’s WOD to be to run a 10K backwards while holding a 45# weight plate.

    • Kathy C says:

Maybe your watch was on zero because of all of that backwards running that you did (doesn’t that start subtracting time?)

  21. Pam McGraw says:

p.s. Lisa; you missed out on so much fun, where were you girl? No more foil highlight aptmts on our WOD mornings!! Wish you were there!

  22. Kimberley says:

Our field trip today was such a blast! Felt like I was back in college hanging with the girls going to do something fun. Back then it was probably drinking. Fast forward 20 years and who would have thought the fun would be runnining, jumping, squating, deading, wallballing….. All I can say, is you guys make workingout well worth the effort. Next time around though, I definitely say lets head to Mrs. C’s for coffe Khalua.

Nice to be running outside today, didn’t like the backwards run, felt dizzy trying to look over my shoulder. Time was 11:27. Can’t believe Mrs. C talked me into that little tabbata wod, but glad I did it in the end. You are the energizer bunny Mrs. C, always looking for something else to do.

Thanks for timing Mel, couldn’t have done it without you.

  23. Donna says:

What a fun day at CFP! First the field trip and then the tabatta WOD back at the ranch afterwards. Constantly varied – that’s for sure but lots of laughs too!

I can only imagine what the teachers/staff at SMS thought as they looked out their windows to see eight women on the track some going fowards, some going backwards, and others jumping/lunging etc. I’ll have to follow up as to why Channel 3 was a no show. Maybe next time and this should definitely be followed by coffee/kahlua at Mrs. C’s.

  24. Pam McGraw says:

Kathy C; still the comedian, aren’t ya?! Miss you girl, hope your YOB is going well!

  25. Melinda says:

    OMG, “Kelly” gulp!!
