A rest day in our CrossFit Cycle.

WODs to Make Up

2/6/10: deadlifts 7 rounds 5 reps each round

2/7/10: “Stephen”

Yeah Meme! 180# for 5 reps! It's the shoes..definitely the shoes!

I am going out on a limb here and volunteering Meme without even asking her…I have a 10am PTO meeting and will be leaving by 9:40am.  IF Meme’s able she can hang until the 10:30am time frame.

WOD friends Mel and Russ! You both did super..GHD sit ups and back extensions are WICKED good Mel and Russ your controlled K2E were right on every rep!

Great job Bowman handling Women's rx'd weight! Form looked good girl!! You'll nail stringing K2E...toss some into this week's warm up!

Thanks Caleb for all of your deadlift help, timing, technique tweaking on K2E...greatly appreciated!

Thanks for keeping me going Ian....I'll be your WOD friend anytime!

CFP will hold normal 8:45-11am hours during school vacation which is the week of February 15 except for Tuesday and Wednesday (2/16 and 2/17).

2/16: close at 10:35am as I have to get Rielly to a tennis lesson for 10:45am

2/17: Tom WODs early am (5:30-7AMish) and I will do my best to hold a WOD hour from 8-9am before heading to Coco Key…if you’d like to join us, feel free!

2/20: Russ will cover from 9-11am as I have a commitment with Rielly and Kacey.

    feel like KA KA. head is like a cement block. dressed to exercise at home but don’t even think i can do that…….which means i will be extremely CRANKY today. hopefully see everyone tomorrow.

    Stephen kicked my a$$. Felt like every round was about 15 minutes on a roller coaster going upside down of course. Never have I felt like that before – the entire gym was spinning. Did the WOD with my eyes closed most of the time – not sure if that helped or made it worse. Time was awful (37 something) but at least I got it done. Sorry to keep everyone waiting!!

    Great seeing you Jodi! You are a machine! Hope the girls feel better.

    Even now at 12:00 still feeling a little queasy. Just finished making chili and am staying away from all sharp objects for the rest of the day. See everyone in the morning. Feel better McGraw!!

    Stephen does not sound like a very fun WOD; EEK; better make sure my head is decongested before attacking that one! YIKES. Jodi sorry i missed Wodding with you, we never get to do that!
    Just taking it easy today and nursing this cold, lots of tea and EMERGEN-C. Stuck home between 12 and 5 anyway for a delivery (don’t you love that?).
    Mango hope your head stopped spinning! I wouldn’t advise eating chili for at least 12 hours!!

    WOW!!! I cant feel my hamstrings or stomach today at all. Kim thanks for the push your are an awesome WOD buddy. Great job everyone with Stephan yesterday. R Malz your quote during your WOD was priceless and your pace was amazing. Taking today off trying to fight off a head cold but everytime I sneeze it kills my stomach. GHD!!!!!!

    Sorry to leave y’all this AM……big things goin’ down with Nayaug PTO-had to be there!

    I didn’t want to tell anyone but I slipped this out to Jodi and Lisa a little before leaving~ “Stephen” left me dizzy/and filled with nausea after EVERY round of GHD’s going into K2E.

    what I liked about it though is that I am absolutely TOAST today…..hamstrings, abs…I FEEL IT and I like that beat up feeling every now and again!

    We had a great weekend of skiing in VT. Too bad it had to end with me being very sick. I am home with a bad case of strep throat. Can barely speak, have body aches and chills, not to mention a fever. While I am feeling sorry for myself, it doesn’t help that my husband left this afteroon and won’t be back until Friday…argh!!! Not sure when I will be back to fighting state, but will be there as soon as I can. Missed everyone this morning. Hope to see you soon.

    After a few days off, I was going to take it easy tonight, but Jay talked me into doing Stephen with him:

    Stephen:
    GHD sit-up
    Back extension
    Knees to elbow
    95 pound Stiff legged deadlift
    30-25-20-15-10-5 For Time: 15:29

    That was tough, but fun. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. CFP was rockin’ tonight. Jay slammed through it in just over 21:00. Kelly killed it in 16:40. Tom did awesome. Lots of fun!

        Thanks. Yes, Lynne and Holly were there. They went through their warm up and did a little accessory work, but decided to call it quits before a “Tom” WOD because they were feeling beat up from Stephen.

      Nope…have to work up north tomorrow Donna :( The new kicks – and me will have to make this one up. Anything would be better than my last go round with BS’s! I’m curious about this WOD…I’m thinking it must be the same weight for all rounds, but how to pick that load??
